Raipur. In the first phase of state-wide Lok Suraaj Abhiyan 2018, more than 30 lakh 10 thousand applications related to various subjects were received for various departments, at the collection camps organized in all 27 districts of state. Redressal of these applications is in progress. State Government has also created a website for providing information regarding Lok Suraaj Abhiyan to common people. Website address is cg.nic.in/loksuraj. The progress in process of application redressal is being updated at the website. Any applicant can log on to this website and check the status of redressal of their application.
It is noteworthy that this year Lok Suraaj Abhiyaan is being organized in three phases. In the first phase from January 12 to January 14, applications were collected through redressal boxes placed in all district headquarters, gram panchayats and urban bodies. Meanwhile, 30 lakh 10 thousand 425 applications were received. This includes 28 lakh 5 thousand 640 applications from rural areas and one lakh 85 thousand 761 applications received from urban areas. 19 thousand 24 applications were received online. Now In the second phase from January 15 to March 11, examination and redressal of these applications is being done. Later, from March 12 to March 31, redressal camps will be held at village cluster-level and ward cluster-level in urban areas of all the districts, wherein applicants will be informed about the redressal action being taken on their applications received.
In this duration, Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh along with In-charge Ministers of all the districts, Chief Secretary, In-charge Secretary and other senior officals and public representatives will visit these redressal camps. Administrative preparations to properly organize these redressal camps are in progress. In these camps, people will be benefited under various schemes. Besides, more applications will be collected for common people and as far as possible the applications will be redressed on spot. In case, on spot redressal is not possible, then the applicant will informed about the redressal within one month. In these redressal camps, people will be informed about the public welfare schemes of government. In the third phase of Lok Suraaj Abhiyan to begin from March 12, Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh will do sudden inspection of redressal camps, government hospitals, hostels, schools, aanganbadi centres, colleges, tehsil office, ration shop, bus stand, and other offices, farmers, chaupals etc to take feedback from public. Ministers, parliamentary secretary and incharge secretary will also do inspection visits at their level.
After visit and inspection, Chief Minister will take meeting of officials in district headquarters. In these meetings, redressal of applications in redressal camps and implementation of projects and various schemes will be received. Moreover, next action plan will also be discussed. Chief Minister will also address press conference after the review meetings.
